How results are calculated

Test Methodology

The test is built as a short-form visual reasoning assessment. Its purpose is transparent feedback about performance on this item set, not a claim of clinical measurement or a permanent measure of intelligence.

Four reasoning domains

Items cover matrix completion, spatial rotation, quantitative pattern recognition, and abstract combination. Each domain contributes to a profile so a single total score does not hide areas of relative strength.

Difficulty weighting

Every item has a difficulty weight. The report shows both the number of correct answers and a weighted accuracy score, so solving a more difficult item contributes more to the performance profile.

Estimated IQ-style range

The displayed estimate maps performance bands to a narrow reference range for easier interpretation. It is an internal orientation scale for this service, not a score normed against a representative population and not an official IQ result.

What the result cannot tell you

A short online assessment cannot diagnose ability, learning needs, neurodivergence, cognitive impairment, or future achievement. Sleep, device conditions, familiarity with puzzles, language, and chance can affect performance.

How to interpret it

Review the total score together with the domain profile and item explanations. For a formal assessment, consult a qualified psychologist or an appropriately standardized testing provider.
